Who we are

The Romanian National Association of Flour Milling and Baking Industries – ANAMOB is a professional organization for milling, bakery, pastry, confectionery industries founded in 1994 at the initiative of 59 companies. Currently, our organization has over 170 companies members, covering the entire territory of Romania. We are members of ASRO – Standards Association in Romania, of UGIR 1903 – The General Union of Romania Industrialists and of IAOM – International Association of Operative Millers Eurasia.

Our project

On the first of July of 2010, the ANAMOB started the project „Promoting the access for milling, bakery, pastry and cofectionery industries employees at innovative and european quality professional training programs”, within POSDRU 2007 – 2013, co financed by the European Social Fund. We want to become, in the next three years, the main source of training and human resource development for milling, bakery and cofectionery industries. Our goal is to offer free, complete and approved training programs.

Our professional training programs

The project aims to provide authorized and free training programs for milling, bakery, pastry and confectionery industries employees, for multiple occupations and skill levels. Training programs have been approved by CNFPA and necessary documentation was prepared for their deployment, as required by law. Within the training programs we provide both theoretical and practical training. All training programs are completed through an examination which tests the skills acquired through participation in the training programs.

Where you can find us

There are currently two training facilities in our project: Galati and Bucharest. The Regional Center at Galati was created based on the long tradition in educating specialists in food industry that this center has to offer operating in the College of Food Industry „Elena Doamna”, founded in 1966. The Bucharest Regional Center operates in the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMVB), which houses the pilot stations for bakery-pastry-confectionery and food industry analysis.
